Auto Forward mails

I have an official mail id which i will not be able to access from home. I willbe able to access it only from office...
is it possible to automatically forward the email to a different mailbox(say: gmail id) once I receive a mail in my official mailbox ....

is this possible... or is there any workaround to achieve this

Download and install thunderbird on your office PC.
After that on first run input in all your details of office mail account and allow it to auto configure and connect to office mail box.It will start pulling in your mails from your Office mail account into local inbox folder. Thats all about configuring Mozilla Thunderbird.

Now forwarding Part.
Head to Otions menu->prefernces->mail forwarding.
Input you Gmail id and save the settings.You are ready to go.

Most independent email scripts have mail forwarding options just like in Gmail. Check if yours have one.

I would advice you against doing it. There is a reason setting email servers such that you won't be able to access it from outside office network. You should not forward nor access those emails if you are not in the office.

Forwarding company emails to private email box is mostly considered as violation of company policies and it can lead to termination of employment.

So, unless you are sure you want to do this and know what you are doing, don't do this.
