It seems lots of people have problem deciding the correct temperature at which the Intel based processors are running.

This thread has been created, so that the users can come to know the working temperature of other users.

All you need to do is reply to this thread in the following format,

Processor Type: (e.g. Intel P-IV)
Processor Code: (e.g. Prescott)
Processor Speed: (e.g. 3.4 GHz)

Mother Board Chipset: (e.g. 925)
Mother Board Manufacturer: (e.g. Asus)
Mother Board Model: (e.g. P5AD2 Premium)

Do you use any special cooling solutions (e.g Special types of heat sinks, Liquid based coolings etc) ? (Yes/No). If Yes then give the make and model.

Does the working area has A/C ? (Yes/No)

Processor Temperature at Idle: (‘C)
Processor Temperature at Load: (‘C)

Processor Fan Speed at Idle: (RPM)
Processor Fan Speed at Load: (RPM)

Mother Board Temperature at Idle: (‘C)
Mother Board Temperature at Load: (‘C) 

Cabinet Fan Speed at Idle: (RPM)
Cabinet Fan Speed at Load: (RPM)

If you don’t know any data just put a “ – “ mark and give the reason.



The data from my PC is as follows,

Does the working area has A/C ? : No

Processor Temperature at Idle: 57 ~ 60 (‘C)
Processor Temperature at Load: 60 ~ 72 (‘C)

Processor Fan Speed at Idle: 2750 ~ 3000 (RPM)
Processor Fan Speed at Load: 3200 ~ 4300 (RPM)

Mother Board Temperature at Idle: 34 ~ 36 (‘C)
Mother Board Temperature at Load: 36 ~ 40 (‘C)

Cabinet Fan Speed at Idle: - (RPM) I don’t have cabinet fans with RPM Indicator.
Cabinet Fan Speed at Load: - (RPM) I don’t have cabinet fans with RPM Indicator.

Processor Fan Speed at Load: 1800 ~ 2500 (RPM)

Mother Board Temperature at Idle: 28 ~ 32 (‘C)
Mother Board Temperature at Load: 34 ~ 41 (‘C)

Cabinet Fan Speed at Idle: - 800 (RPM)
Cabinet Fan Speed at Load: - 1600 (RPM)

Modify the following

Cabinet Fan Speed at Idle: - (RPM) 800.
Cabinet Fan Speed at Load: - (RPM) 1600

into

Cabinet Fan Speed at Idle: 800 (RPM)
Cabinet Fan Speed at Load: 1600 (RPM)

Seems you have done Copy & Paste of my post.

Intel 865 GBF Mobo

Any specal cooling - no

RPM at idle - 2500-3000
RPM at Load - 5000-5400

Mobo temps at idle - 36 and 34
mobo temps at load - 48 and 42
