I am the proud owner of pc bought back in 2005 april...
P4 2.4 Ghz,Intel 845 GVSR board,512 mb ddr ram,160 gb PATA hd(Samsung)

Now I want to have some nice amd proc and board tat supports ddr2 and agp slots...also Ide ports.

Which configuration should I take and wat wud be approx cost?

r u asking for approx. selling price for ur existing PC ? even then, i think u should post this in the hardware section. also search for cost of new config. in already exiting threads in HW section.

Ok i needed to know how much my existing components will fetch.If around 4.5k,I can shell out another 6k approx.
Btw,I have 2 optical drives and 2 pata HD,so board must have 2 IDE ports...please suggest some.

anyway i am informing u guys..i have bought my new one...the 40gb HD crashed..so i sold the rest of cpu for 3.5k and got teh config in my signature for 13.7k
