apple ipad comes with 1 year international warranty so it has eligible warranty all over world including india

Apple warranty is based on serial number, even the iStore doesn't ask for the bill. But buying iPad next month makes no sense. If u wait for some days more you will be getting iPad 2 with retina display, dual-camera and dualcore processor.

Beileve me the Retina Display is damn! cool -I own an iPod Touch 4G its retina display is lot better than the previous generations.

Retinal display is an improved version of your LCD,its got a different type of glass it seems. But as VarDOS said, it is good ! (me too used an iPod touch 4G)
