Apple ipad 4 wifi speed is slow..

Hi all,

I bought a new apple ipad 4 32gb wifi +3g model... I have BSNL broadband 512kbps unlimited plan.. When i am connecting through wifi in ipad and downloading apps, speed is very slow.. Speed test shows that the download speed is only 40 kbps... What may be the issue???

Its an internet fault. How much download speed you get on PC?

See if resetting the network settings on the iPad helps.
Which router you have?

First, you need to ensure that your router settings are adjusted for optimal use. Try turning off WMM (QoS) under your router settings. If this doesn't work then -

I'd suggest testing the wireless speed very close to the router.

How far away are you from the wireless router when you normally use your iPad?
There may be certain materials between you and the router that are interfering with the connection.

If you find that connection speed increases as you get closer to your router then you might consider relocating the router, or finding a product to increase your wireless routers range.
