My requirements are:

2. screen size 3.2 or above
3. Capacitive touch
4. if possible, keyboard.
5. Good review.

Kindly suggest good phones in this range...

Thanks.

thanks for your suggestions.

I found some interesting phones. Anybody familiar with Micromax A70 and A75?
Also Spice mi-360n looks good.

I don't know. Will any of this phone survive to me for atleast 2 Years?

thanks for the reply...

^I do not recommend Indian brands such as Micromax, especially with Android due to poor battery life, higher radiation levels and complaints of poor service and update support.

Go for the LG Optimus Net.

Dont buy any micromax or spice android phone...
Their service and battery life is pathetic, use them for 4hr and the battery is empty...
No os update after launch(micromax tegra 2 based a85 is still on 2.2 and no official future update) and also their customisation is very difficult as these company dont release their mobile kernel codes...

@niravjadwani :

You can go for Optimus Net Dual, blind folded, if you can't spend above 10k.
(Or HTC explorer adding just 1k).

Finally got Motorola Fire XT 530 for 10900 on ebay.

Got a 3.5" Screen, 800mhz processor, and Android 2.3.x..

Think got a good deal.

Only reason I didnt buy Optimus net is bad reviews in many portals regarding app closure.

I think Lg optimus One P500 is still better in terms of reliability (as per my research)..

Apart from that, Thanks all for your valuable inputs. It was very helpful.

Fire XT at that price is unbeatable.

LG O1 is better :)

old (gold) :p

lg optimus net or htc explorer

which is the best one and why?

GOOD:
Explorer: Perfectly stable Android 2.3, HTC Sense UI 3.5, Qualcomm Scorpion based processor (faster than other 600Mhz Qualcomm processor), compact, its HTC
Net: 3.2 AF cam, more internal memory, no locked bootloader (flashing custom rom made easy), Android 4.0 ready (unofficially), service center everywhere.

BAD:
Explorer: Sense is bloatware, camera doesn't have autofocus, locked bootloader is a headache, heard internal memory is around 50Mb.
Net: LG doesn't knows how to customize android, processor is slow.

HTC Explorer still wins till you can find it for just 10k.

Well, IMO HTC Explorer looked underpowered and I previously had a very bad experience with HTC phones(htc touch viva).

Struggling to learn android now!!!:) Hope to get over it soon!!
Any good "Starter" read on how to get around in android? It will be helpful...

looks under powered but is not
HTC WM6 & 6.5 mobiles are history. HTC no longer makes mobile for other mobile makers.

best way to learn Android is experiment around. Its fun and you'll learn things in more details but takes a bit of time. Also as you can't alter system settings, so its safe.
