When i'm going to install android SDK through eclipse i'm getting error msg each time though i follow every steps of installtion written in their official site.

It shows like:

problem has not solved yet,it gives same error in eclipse.
r u using Android? plzz tell me how you install it.

Do I need an android phone to develop android apps or is there a VM custom-built for it ?
And what programming languages does android support ?

You don't need phone but it helps in testing. Emu works same as phone. Android has it's own programming language which looks like java. I don't have much idea and haven't gotten time to look into it. What is Android

I follow bit by bit there guidance 3 times but still unable to overcome the problem.

how did u install that thru eclipse??You hd not got this error !!

1. Download eclipse *eclipse.unixheads.org/technology/e...pa/winter/eclipse-jee-europa-winter-win32.zip
2. Download Java SE Development Kit (JDK) 6 Update 10 *java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
3. And the plugin *code.google.com/android/intro/installing.html#installingplugin (*dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/)
