amd answer to titan?

First of all, the ares 2 is purely an Asus's initiative, not AMD's. That card costs ~90000 while Titan costs ~70000. Competition over. Go home Asus.

AMD didn't had anything called hd7990, but when Asus and some other board makers started creating a deal 7970 card, AMD officially made it the new hd7990

Amd gave them a design to work on to make custom PCB settings and everything..now they have decided to show off the reference one...although we cannot say if its the same thing unless we have a full disclosure form AMD.

Even then its not an answer to Titan. This is Dual card setup and Titan is single GPU.

Frankly Titan is an overpriced answer to AMD's computational power....one which they easily could have included in GTX 6XX but dude to some unknown reason didn't do so...
