alternate to PS/2???

i just wanted to know whether the PS/2 port in a system can be replaced?? i doubt mine has some problems.
i know usb is an option, but are there any other options of replacing the ps2 port, can that be done??or something like addtional usb is there anything available for ps2 ????

What do u mean by sayin replacin...? Is it replacing the port itself or an alternative to the port...? I don't think u can replace the port in mobo...

what i mean by replacing is, do some addition such that i can use the PS/2 port in my system. is there any option like that, similar to additional usb port.
