Hi all,

Browsing through these forums (or is it fora?) I've a feeling that most users aren't up to scratch on encoding techiniques and encoders in general. Hence this dedicated thread.

Feel free to ask anything about video and audio codecs, ripping and encoding techniques. I'll try my best to answer. Based on response we could make it a sticky later.
