Is there any program which would act as an alarm clock, and start up the PC at a designated time, and thereafter give some kind of audio alarm to wake up someone? (considering that the PC is placed on a table by the bedside)
Donno if this is a very stupid kinda question...:cry:

full article is not useful to u half is usefull that is upto how to wake up PC than u can donload any alarm sw from net and schedule it

ya... a mobile definitely works very well... so was just wondering if the same feature (the alarm works even if the mobile is switched off) is available on a comp. coz both have inbuilt clocks.

My colleague is a techie and loves gadgets but he is always late for work as the shift timing does not suit him. Is there an alarm clock that has interesting features that I can buy for him that would suit the different needs of people?

try pcautoshutdown... its a old software and well u can just increase the time it goes on fr.... its barely 1 MB and well in the 6-7 minutes u can make it ring... ne 1 ll get up...
