Here in Kanpur , there was no internet in Airtel for "19 days". Every airtel user in my hostel calls to cc. After a lot complaint , it solved on 16sep.

Presently, BSNL has no money even for purchasing single Telephone, modem etc., its expansion plans are on hold.. it is begging the vendors of Mobile lines for supplying parts on installment basis, approximately 2000 crores are dues from various parties, including other ISP.. it already started cut the medical facilities, LTC facilities of its own staff, and presented 1 Lakh staff under VRS, So at any even it had to realize all the revenues dues from other parties.. it give suficient time for others .. but instead they try to delaying tactics.. including putting the political pressure.. the isp are sources of big fund raisers for the ruling party, so the GOVT is not helping BSNL either, at that same time they are afraid to intervene on behalf of them, because they can be accused of another scam..
Any way negotiations between them can be helpful, because there is a clause, that they can pay interim payment, than rest of them paid after arbitration award..disconnection in this case is mutually destroying BSNL resources also..

its sad how the GOVT. Telecom service like BSNL under financial crisis.
@OP, u just faced the network issues with Airtel, sadly in Mumbai many people including me faced charges for subscribing unwanted service

huh....God knws whom to believe & on whom to not after Telecom Scandals
