Airtel and Nokia security offer???

Hi,
Yesterday evening I got a call from a lady telling about an offer being introduced from Airtel and Nokia.
She first enquired about the mobile model(N91 4gb) and then asked me to install some software. The software link was sent to me in a message. The offer is that I need to install the software and would get a security code. Now in case my mobile gets lost , then I can go to the Nokia Gallery and show this code and I would get a new Nokia N91.
To me this offer seems a bit bone-headed as I can just throw the present mobile away and then claim its stolen,do some minor legal formalities and then just get a new mobile(just like that!!!).
Has anyone else got such a call or offer?
And just for the record I have still not installed the software as could not verify if the offer was genuine or not.

i think its a hoax..i also have airtel & nokia & i haven't received any such calls or messages...& if you lose your phone its your fault..why will the company give you a new one in return??
