By the way, my friend has 2.4Ghz P4 and the bast*rd assembler gave him mobo without agp slot to increase his profit margin. (obviously we weren't aware of eachother's existance at that time.)
PCI-e weren't existed that time.
Its a very major problem. Vendors/Assemblers/local-pc-wallah dont give you a motherboard with AGP/PCIe slot quite often. This is because they personally think that Intel's (or VIA/S3/NVIDIA/whatever) onboard graphics is really good enough. One has to specifically specify the motherboard if they want something decent.
