Advice me plzzz...Shud i sell laptop or not ?

Hello All,

I have acer aspire 5500 laptop

Config :

Intel Pentium M 1.73 Ghz
RAM 2 GB (upgraded)
New Sony DVD writer installed
ATI Radeon X700 64 MB card
60 GB hard disk

Now here in US laptops are so damn cheap and good config ..that I m tempted to buy one

but dilemma is this ...I use my laptop only for movies and net surfing, music listening etc ....but when i will try to install vista or some 3-4 applications currently..windows crashes..I have formatted it several times but no success...

So can u all advice me should I sell my laptop or take a new one ?

or shud i take a good 22 or 24" LCD screen and connect to laptop as mostly I see movies ..so shud I stick with my present lappi or not ?

Also how much price can this laptop be sold ? Originally it had costed me 2 yrs before 50000/-

You should be able to sell it for around 10-15k.

so wud it be wise to sell this lappi at 15k and then take this lappi in 610 $ (30k)
It has 17" screen size (for movies)
