please advice me with a good mobo within 5K or just above that,and also give me the approx price list

asus p5ld2 for 4.5-4.8k, but its based on the 945 chipset.

if you want a 965 chipset mobo msi 965 neo f (6k) wud be best for u.

well as u r goin for a external gpu so i wont suggest u to go for intel 965RY(less on features and it cost the same compared to other betta mobo in this price range)...juz spend bout 1-1.5 k more then ur budget and get gigabyte P965 S3 its awesome better then MSI NEO,INTEL RY...and it costs arnd 6-6.5k max..u can also check anandtech for the review its the best in 6-7k price range.well if u r tight on budget then get urself a 945 chipset but to b honest it wont b worth buyin this chipset as now its lil old as 965 series is available and much better.which SMPS u buyin??512*2 DDR2 667MHz ram.

well tell us your usage also, if you too much into gaming and plan to overclock your system then 965 should work for you. if you are a casual gamer and do not intend to OC then 945 is decent enough.

It wud be better if u buy 965 cuz 945 is an aging chipset.
