Adobe Premiere Installation Error

Hey

i have Windows XP SP1 installed

i had installed Adbe Premiere 6.0 earlier and then uninstalled it after some time.

Now with the same installation file when i try to re install it ... i am unable to ..

the following error is shown

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose close to terminate the application.

Please help me as soon as possible as i need to edit lots of videos

if possible tell me other good easy to use Video Editing Software.

the movie maker on my pc is old version cannot update as windows update does not work

Coming back to life ..
Hmmm.. The best Vedio Editing software I have used is Virtual Dub Mod ... You can find it here ..
and the tutorial here ..
And www.doom9.org ...


And for your installation problem .. Please post your HijackThis Logfile for better assesment of your problem.

To proceed with your HijackThis log, Run HijackThis again and put a CheckMark next to these entries and Click on Fix Checked.
Please make sure that all Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer windows are closed.

Problem not solved yet :( .... same error !!! :oops:

Any detection methods (HijackThis) etc .... using real time protection of Kaspersky personal ... :cry:

What to do ???? :?:

dont wanna resort to my last option .. :roll:
call my engineer and he will just Format my C drive ... so help out asap !!!
