add a windows service to desktop as shortcut

    hi folks,

    i want to add a windows service to desktop as a shortcut.

    let use say i installed mysql. to start mysql i can use mysqld command or provided icon in start ment or from administrative tools>services.

    but i want to place that service on desktop as a shortcut.

    anybody has answer.

    Why don't you simply copy the link to your service in the start menu to the desktop? After all that's a shortcut too!!

    sorry dude, my service is not eithere in the start menu or in the quick launch bar. if at all, if it is there i wont ask this question.
