activeX error

Hi
I have 2 problems
1) When I run a program it gives a message Runtime Error no '429'.ActiveX control cannot create object.
2) When I check my mail in Rediffmail I get a message.Sorry your browser is not AJAX enabled.However I can receive and send mail
Pls somebody advise how to avoid these two errors.

1. Do you have VB6 runtime files (available at MS website)? Also, Check out the following links:

2. Enable javascript in your browser. Check *en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AJAX#Browsers_that_support_Ajax for list of browsers that support Ajax.

Thanx for reply.I will surely visit the pages you have suggested.
I think I have VB6 runtime files.
I use IE5.5 .Is it AJAX enabled ?
This is a great forum.I posted my query for the first time and got solution lightining fast

IE 5.5 is AJAX enabled. Check your settings to see if Javascript has been enabled. Also, upgrade to IE6+Service Pack at the earliest to reduce number of security holes in IE. If you have WinXP, upgrade to SP2.
