Is it true that the number 24880000 is shutting down from 1st july and 172231 is coming into effect

some1 said that it came in news paper..

some1 plz confirm this news?

Yes and in Delhi it has already been changed.

Now 172231 is req to be dialed.

Yes i saw the ad in the TOI (Mumbai) recently. i think the date was 1st July i dont know that properly.

Why dont u call their crappy call center and ask them.

yes even i have read it in TOI.the numbers for std and isdn lines are changing from 1st of july.
and the charge for the std line was given as 8 paise/minute.do 1 thing visit this link
