about 19inch lcd widescreen

i had recently bought a 19inch lcd aoc 193sw model ,this model which i have has 5ms of respone time and 1400*900 of resolution and higher cantrast rato,
i came across many features lcd screens have
now all i want to know is that....
Is this lcd good or what should be feature one should look for before buing a lcd?, please reply if any one has a answer to question..

I am having problem with my 19 inch widescreen LCD. I know the correct resolution should be 1440*900. But I can't see it in the list, any suggestions ? At present it looks like kinda stretched. This one is Viewsonic VA1903wm
