A question regarding TOR browser

Hi Guys

In my country if a person posts anything against the government, then he or she is arrested. Even if you post say troll pics related to our corrupted government say on websites like FB, Twitter. This is the reason my government has blocked dozens of imagehosting websites. Now my question is that if we use TOR browser to post pics or something that can they caught us?

P.S. I am just a common man who thinks that posting these kinda pics should not be a crime

This image is just a copy paste from facebook, i hope that i don't end up in jail

Thanks

Depends on what you share yourself with the Internet. You have to take security seriously if you wish to not be traceable. But in social networking sites , if you're posting with your real profile & have truly updated your personal information then it makes no difference if you use encryption. On the other hand , if you're using a fake profile with not an inch of true personal information associated with it , then they might not be able to trace you.
Would repeat it again that one has to be seriously serious to avoid being traced because its very difficult to be private online in the world of NSA.
BTW, don't know how the Indian government takes it, if you use encryption (TOR,etc) then the NSA would implicitly assume that you're suspicious & would save your data for future mining.

Thanks for replying. Man i was thinking the same well except for the NSA thing. NSA can go and f*ck themselves with their prism program. I am sure that NSA won't provide my government any info even if they are tracking me. What is VPN? And is it better and easy to use than TOR? Man your machine is great.

VPN is a private internet connection in a public infrastructure. It's private since its encrypted, meaning your pathway isn't open for public to view. Even if your connection is tracked by somebody , they will have to decrypt your data before they can look at it & depending on the algorithm that the particular VPN service provider uses , it may take years to decrypt. TOR is a VPN service. The downside of using VPN service is that your internet speed will suffice since you will be using the VPN provider's server.
Thanks, my machine though is low-end but as you said its great :).

I heard that you can route your connections through Amazon's S3 (or something, forgot exact name) servers, making your connection quite anonymous.

Which is the best VPN service provider?

If i google S3, all i can find is Samsung Galaxy S3.

TOR, Hotspot Shield.

Thank you for all your help

@billubakra, what country are you from?? or there is such law in india that i dont know about??

Yes i am from India. Don't you know about dozens of the imagehosting websites that have been blocked because someone uploaded that italian biatch's photo on those websites? Don't you know that these people arrested 2 innocent girls for posting a status and are filing criminal cases against people posting troll pics?

dont post such things in facebook or anywhere which shows your true name or any ral info. post such things in places which keep you anonymous.

And what are those places?
