it all depends on which type of grip you prefer.

if your grip is using fingers only then go for the razer mouse (anyone..all are good)

if you hold the mouse by resting your palm on it then go for the logitech G5 or the G9 ( i personally prefer G5)

Quick Steel mini for 350/- is a good one especially for that price, its a steal.
Mantis control nd speed dun have very good quality thogh good at performance. The surface begins to peel at edges.
Exactmat is far better.

what moshel said is very true. razer has good claw type mice which are suited for small to med palm sizes. More suited for wrist movements nd clicking with finger tips. The bottom become narrow nd the mice is lengthy nd low height.

whereas logitech's MX 518, G5 or G9 has large mice with more heights. They are palm type nd suited for med~large palms. Ull need to move the entire palm to move the mouse.

Thanks DA seems good
btw Mantis - 1450 rs its just a mouse pad!
or am i wrong and is it worth it?

Well ya ur right...

btw the one i have "Razer ExactMat" cost me Rs. 2300/-.....

the Mantis is a huge 440x440 mousepad with lot of thickness. and its available in two versions, speed and control.

speed surface means the one with the smoother surface....mainly for FPSes and stuff where u need quick mouse movements.

control surface means its a bit rough. used for times when u have to click very precisely. like that in strategy games.

the one i have is mainly a hard board. meaning that the mantis can be rolled up as it is made of cloth. while the exactmat cant be rolled up and it has aluminuim border. and the exactmat has the speed texture on one side and the control on the other side.
