HI,
I have 40 GB harddisk partitioned as 10 GB and 30 GB. I had windos xp on 10 gb C drive and data of around 20 GB on D drive. I wanted to install Ubuntu gutysy gibbon so i removed the 10 gb partition made 8 mb C drive and installed xp on D drive. Now I encounter probelm while installing some softwares like java virtual machine. They try to use C drive for temp drive but I dont have space overthere. How can i tell them to use D drive instead.
Thankyou in advance.
P.S.
Pleaes dont talk about softwares like partition magic and vmware.
