Yes, next year it will be US

Heard it is good, a more expensive variant might have that included. I think LG's cheapest 3 TVs have the same panel, so I usually recommend the cheapest one, usually lacks magic remote.

Also I was thinking if I am buying the Magic Remote then the deal comes to 41K and this model does not have Dolby Vision, I know this is a slightly over stretching my budget but no by much, then would the Hi-Sense U6K 55" would that not be a better deal. It has almost everything is not on Amazon sale but is available at 46K and Croma and Reliance Digital.

Check a youtube video on its features, you get a normal remote otherwise.

Hisense U6K in India is vastly inferior to U6K reviewed by rtings.com. Based on my research, difference between U6K & A6K won't be noticeable, hence I bought 43" A6K for my flatmate instead of U6K. I'll recommend you to save money with 55" A6K as well over U6K.

Also, Dolby vision certification doesn't matter. Samsung's high end TVs don't have it but will still look better than competing Hisense/TCL TVs with DV certification. DV videos fall back to normal HDR10 if DV certification is not present.

So between LG UR7500 and Hi-Sense A6K would Hi-Sense A6K be a better choice ?

I was asking features and Functionality wise which is more superior ?
It is the same honestly, if you are just going to use it for watching videos. LG should have better image processing, this helps it counter the sheer hardware specs that the Chinese offers.

So, as I said, your call on brand value vs saving money. I am assuming this is your first 55" 4K TV, so both of them will be a major upgrade from whatever you used earlier. Just take a call soon before prices rise or stuff goes OOS

Well the sad part is the LG UR7500 is already showing not available now on Amazon :)

Got busy with other things in life so buying TV is still pending.

By the way very recently had my eyes on the LG UR8050 TV I thought it was good option in the 50K budget

But recently also saw the first ever demo of the Hi-Sense U6K which you had suggested initially. Frankly don't know what to say yes the colours look more saturated and vibrant but tell me all the AI enhancement that it applies to people skin and all, in Reality do people look that way ? and is that a realistic colour ?

I am kind of confused yes the Hi-Sense U6K does look more vibrant because of the Saturated Colours but I don't know If at all it will it be an overall good watching and. Viewing experience, as it applies a lot of AI to colour and texture of people's skin.

What would you suggest between LG UR8050 vs Hi-Sense U6K ?

I think 2-3 cheapest LG TVs use the same panel. IMO buy the cheapest LG 4K 55" at just above 40k, it will be a big upgrade for most people coming from an inferior TV.

IMO no point for you to spend more. Can buy the cheapest Samsung if you want. Sony X74K 55" is 50k or so, will be bit better but, for you even the old notoriously low brightness Xiaomi TVs will feel like a big upgrade. So just get the cheapest LG or Samsung TV.

Hisense U6K - not much reviews, so can't say if it will in fact be better than A6K. My flatmate bought 43" 4K A6K for under 20k 1 month ago, is good for the price. I doubt I recommended U6K earlier.

TVs were cheaper 1 month ago during the main sale, now all TVs have got a 3-5k price hike in this price segment.

Dont know if the LG model link that you have mentoned is it better than the UR80 Series ?

So are you saying since there is no real review of Hi-Sense U6K better to skip on it for the moment ? As we cant say for sure that the TV model is the best despite its big features that it claims it offers ?

As I said, the bottom 2-3 models use same panel. Smaller bezels, presence of magic remote & not sure what else is what separates them. UR7500 is inferior in product stack to UR8050, but I don't think latter has a superior panel. So won't get my recommendation. X74K at 50k or so has better reviews over budget LG & Samsung panels, hence I recommended that instead.

Again repeating, I looked into U6K, saw no reason to buy it, saved money with A6K for my flatmate. I mean, I use that TV as well, so paying 2-3k extra for U6K is no big deal for us, but I saw no reason to do that. If space wasn't a constraint, we would have bought 55" A6K for under 30k on sale.

And are you guys happy with the Colour and detailing and Sharpness of the Hi-Sense A6K ?

So you would suggest Sony Bravia X74K over the LG UR8050 is it ?

Yes, A6K is fine. My friend has the base Vu 4K 43", it is similar, just that Vu had better speakers.

Yes, I will recommend X74K over UR8050 for 50k budget. But my primary recommendation will remain the base LG or Samsung model. Sony is known for its colour tuning. If possible check X74K vs UR8050 in showroom, take your content to play on both TVs. Control settings like vivid mode, brightness, etc as much as possible.

Again, even Hisense A6K 55" will be a big upgrade for you. Get a 5k soundbar with woofer (TV speakers have its limits) along with it for a great experience overall at 35k. Get Hisense only if you have their service centre in your city.

@omega44-xt What do you think about this TV? I am looking for buying one, This will be placed in dining room area and would majorly be used during weekends. My major concern is about After sales of Hi-Sense and longetivity of products. The size must be atleast 55inch, if you have any other good recommendation from VU or Hisense pls suggest.

After sales is indeed a concern of brands which aren't LG, Samsung or Sony. That's why my first recommendation has been base LG or Samsung 4K 55" model around 40k for OP. Can recommend same to you as well.

If you are in a Tier 1 city, can take risk & buy Vu/Hisense/Xiaomi, etc. 1 month back you were getting 3 years of manufacturer warranty on that model though. Price is good.

@omega44-xt Finally bit the Bullet and Purchased Hisense U6K the other day from Reliance Digital for 46K with a 3 years default warranty and 2 years extended Warranty which came as a bonus perk on my credit card. So in total I have 5 Years of Warranty on this TV.

Now I am looking to use this TV with the best possible settings and calibration, can you suggest me how do I keep the settings to view this TV in its best format ?
