Ans:Workstation.Do a lot of Java coding,Multitasking,Compiling etc.Will be playing FIFA only..
Apps Mainly IDE Eclipse,Compiling (CyanogenMod Roms etc),MSSQL,Oracle(Sqldeveloper),Some Web Development,Multiple VMs etc

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans:40-45k

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans:Yes.Budget an issue

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans:Linux Mostly...Windows 7 or 8

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans:1 Tb as of Now

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans:Yes.22 in Dell 2240L

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans:For the this build i will not be buying a GPU or an SSD.but If its an AMD fx build i am plannin on hd 5670 DDR5

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans:Next Month

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans:Nope.First Time

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans:Gurgaon.From Nehru Place as its the cheapest ,open to buying online also

Ans: Proccy am considering AMD FX 8350 and i7 3770(Without the K)

But i have 40-45k in budget.Planning on High end CPU(FX 8350,3570k or 3770...etc).Also please suggest me a good cabby.

Joed14, you've mentioned multitasking but did not mention type of apps you are going to use. Opening 5 tabs in web browser and running wmp is also considered multitasking but for that even a dual core pentium G645 will do. Also for java coding, you don't need a 8 threaded CPU like fx-8350 or i7 3770. Belive me, although they can use multiple cores, thry never going to stress the cpu by 100% load anytime.
APPLICATIONS like 3ds max, phtoshop, premier, video encoding etc can stress the highest end cpus to their maximum level.

I am telling you these to explain power usage concern of yours while going with amd fx 8 cores. In idle and low stress condition, fx 8350 has almost same power consumption as the 3770k. Regarding power savings, if you run the system at 100% load at 7 hrs daily then with Intel you might save 80 to 100 bucks monthly. But it is highly unlikely that the stress will be full at all the time and the savings will be much lower.

And you have a pretty wrong idea about what Workstation Computets do, edit the 1st post and explicitly mention the name and type og apps you're going to run.

If OP doesn't opts for FX 8350, then he'll probably get an i5 3xxx. FX 8350 gives pretty much same (if not exactly same) performance in day-to-day tasks such ar browsing, adn definitely leads in multithreaded apps. Switching to anothet chip to save Rs.1000 annually? BS.
