3D Rendering - 1L budget

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: Being a Furniture Designer, I need the rig to do the following things:
3D Modelling - Sketchup (perhaps 3DS Max). I understand Sketchup does not need an Uber config
3D Rendering - CPU (Thea/VRay) and GPU (Thea) based Renders

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: Upper limit - 1L (incl taxes)

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Only if it has a significant impact on rendering times. Else stock will do just fine.

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 10

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 250 GB Samsung EVO SSD. May add on a 1TB later if needed, but not now

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: IPS Panel for accurate color reproduction.
Priority 1: 2x ~20-24" 1080P
Priority 2: 1x ~24" to ~27" 1080P minimum
Decision to be taken on budget considerations. First priority will be to max out CPU and RAM

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: Zotac GTX 1070 Amp
Razer Deathadder Chroma Mouse + Mouse Pad
Microsoft Sidewinder x4 KB

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: December End. Should I wait for the new Intel processors?

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Assembler

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Gurgaon. I will buy from C2C@Nehru place. I doubt there would be a need to go online

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: a) Since I already have a GTX 1070, please help on CPU (6-8 cores preferably), MOBO, RAM (dual channel 16GB/32GB) for maxing out CPU rendering capabilities under the budget.
b) For reference, my previous rig is here. I bought it in 2011 with help from fellow digit forum members for gaming. I intend to give it to my wife for 3D designing.

Intel Core i7 6700K -26000,
Asus Z170 Pro Gaming -14500,
Cooler Master Hyper 212x -3000,
Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (8GBx4) 3000Mhz -14000,
WD Caviar Blue 1TB -3500,
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB -7000,
LG 24MP88HM 24" LED IPS -14500,
Corsair Carbide 270R -6000,
Seasonic M12II 620w -7000.
Total -95,500.

Everything can be bought either locally or from mdcomputers.in except PSU which can be bought from either amazon.in or overclockerszone.com
Seasonic PSUs is distributed by Tirupati Enterprises based out of Kolkata. Even RMA is dealt by them only.

Since you want a 8 core Skylake CPU, i7 is more than enough. No need to go with Intel X99 platform.

If you can wait a little longer then AMD Ryzen with DDR4 ram support and 4C/8T or 8C/16T is going to be released in Q1 2017.

You should have purchased AMD RX480 GPUs like HIS RX480 8GB Iceq X2 Roaring Turbo @ 23k which is widely available from savera who are the distributors of HIS in India and they have several branches all over India where concerning RMA,
Savera deals with it as well.

I would advise you to go with 5820k and x99 platform instead, first of all the 2 extra cores will reduce the rendering time a lot, and then you can later on upgrade in future to buy a cpu with even more cores (cheap xeon from ebay)
but if you can wait please wait till end of january, AMD's new Ryzen line of processors seem to compete with Intel's top end 1100$ processors according to their presentation, if such is the case the enthusiast level processors price will tumble down.

@bssunilreddy Thanks for the reply. i7 6700k wont be optimal since its 4C/8T. AMD Ryzen seems promising and I believe its prudent to defer the purchase till relevant details emerge
joyceanblue 2 extra cores will indeed be a help. Makes sense to wait. Thank you

i7 6700k has 4 physical cores and not 8. Other 4 cores are logical or hyperthreaded ones. Would be better for OP to wait for Ryzen launch or get a x99 build straightaway.

Config is otherwise fine but consider replacing the monitor with an ultra-wide such as LG 25UM65-P.

As for RX 480 suggestion

GTX 1070 can run games at 4k high-max settings above 40fps, RX480 simply can't. (Tom's Hardware)

OP already has a GTX 1070, enough budget to get a x99 build and the conveniently missing monitor in your suggested config

Also, you want OP to fry his new system? Why do you keep recommending crap PSUs from Cooler Master? Noobs buy them.
