3 instances of svchost.exe running

Hi,
I saw in the task manager of my PC (runnign Win2k pro SP3) that there were 3 instances of svchost.exe running.
Now,I know that svchost.exe is a system process etc...
Question is...
Is it normal to have more than one instance of svchost.exe running on the comp?

u have three, i have four:
Two for NW Service
One for Local Service
One For System

XP home SP2

Its very normal!

There may be 3, 4 or more instance of svchost.exe running in background!

So don't worry about it!

PS: U can see which services r running for svchost.exe by right-clicking on My computer icon and select Manage, goto: Services & Applications -> Services and sort them by Status, and then by double-clickng on each service u can know the path of service
