Recently came across a TECH-COM 3.5" SATA enclosure for Rs.590. So I'm seriously considering using my current 1TB internal as external using the same. Anybody having experience with the matter kindly suggest if its a good move or not.

in my opinion using 3.5" internal hdd as external hdd is not a good idea.these hdd are not designed to be move around & draw power directly from mains using an adapter.best way for such drives is install inside cabinet & forget.2.5" hdd are better suited for such conditions.
