1) can any1 pls give me latest price on 1TB/2TB segate/WD internal hardsick and link of online retailer also


when i chked smc internation and some other sites they lack 2TB drive , some have but ST2000DL003 2TB 5900 RPM drive only ,
so pls suggest 2TB cheap 7200 rpm Sata 2/3 Drive

ty 4 link but 2TB u mentioned is Spin Speed (RPM) 5900 RPM


Is it normal all 2TB comes in 5.9k rpm only ?

Noob question ,even if it support 6gbps since h.d Platter is rotating slow(5.9rpm) it will dec. performance rite?

with Faster rpm read write hub is able to read/W more info faster from platter rite?

Access time will be better on the 7200rpm drive, but the 5900rpm drive is actually faster because of denser platters. (Talking only about the two 2TB drives linked here)
