2 PC Config??

I have two PC with one being active. I need to use the old PC(PC2) to downlaod applications and movies over-night. I need to take control of PC2 from the active one through my BSNL router. I dont want to use the keyboard and mouse in my PC2. Both PC have Win7.
How to do it??

• Is it possible to bypass keyboard and mouse error during bootup?
• For Using Remote desktop, do i need to create any network group? (newbie to netowrk config)

yes, check bios settings and it won't give error for mouse or keyboard

for remote Desktop, Network is necessary but it is very simple and basic.

Their both Work group should be same and Ip address should be Relative..

Just this two things are required. It is very basic u can do it very easily.

if i am correct for remote destop same Workgroup/Domain is not necessary but same IP range is i.e if PC1=192.168.1.1,PC2=192.168.1.2

Well, unfortunately I have never use Remote desktop, always used team viewer. But I do know little basics of networking that to connect two computers their workgroup should be same. but it is possible I may be wrong..

i tried to connect using remote desktop....(connected using computer name)
it was connected and popping for username and password..but i havent set those, even tried using administrator, not worked (not sure abt the password )
what to do now??

I believe it was asking for guest os Username and Password.. If their is no password then let password field empty.. In user name you need to enter Username of you guest comp.

Just added password to the account and everything was thru............
