So i was going through old non working hardware and found around 5 mobiles, a ODD and well my old PC(parts).

In my desktop the icon of recycle bin shows that the recycle bin is not empty but when i open the recycle bin there are no items in it. what could be the cause of the problem...

To change the name of the Recycle Bin desktop icon, open Regedit and go to:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/CLSID/{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}
and change the name "Recycle Bin" to whatever you want.

Recently I saw tat 10% of each drive is reserved as maximum for recycle bin.I have a 160 gb hard disk with quite big partitions...so I am worried if all those gbs of space are just 'reserved'.
Is the space allocated permanently or just used when needed?
