hey all, i am running windows xp.... i need 3rd party tools for -defragmenting -checking the disk fer errors(like chkdsk) cause windows defrag. doesn't defrag too well....look at the screenshot below, it is showing defrag complete with that whole portion red....it says some files left...

How ofter you defrag you harddisk and scan it for errors....? Is the process Done Manually or are left to Automatic softwares like ..SystemMechanic , Task Schedular , DiskKeeper Etc...Hate to be bothered for such petty tasks... Or i believe my system resides in my Harddisk...
