3rd party system tools needed as windows ones suck

hey all,
i am running windows xp....
i need 3rd party tools for
-defragmenting
-checking the disk fer errors(like chkdsk)

cause windows defrag. doesn't defrag too well....look at the screenshot below, it is showing defrag complete with that whole portion red....it says some files left, but y r they left????and it doesn't arrange the files well, they are still scattered(it is not that all the free space is on the right and the files on the left)

and the chkdsk doesn't completely check the disk unless donw from the recovery console...

it is preferable if thw softwares are free...

Use Diskeeper 10, it's faster, more thorough, & provides better performance.

Yes, Windows's defrag tool is so slow & it sucks big time.

I specially hate the vista defrag tool .. it shows no progress bar !!! and ya diskeeper is very nice

i was using diskeeper 8, cos 10 was not worthwhile updating

recently i switched to Perfectdisk 8, it's slower then diskeeper but more through

Use Power Defragmenter-it's Contig with a GUI.

Some files are left cause they are unmovable or are locked/in use. Else no matter what defrag you use, will move them.
