Hi,
Architecture student here, been wanting to get a tablet for some time now, I'll prolly be able to convince my parents to buy one for me by June when I'll be starting the third year.
I'll say first off that I'm practically drooling over the Nexus 7 - but I'm open to other options. :razz...
OK here's the deal - I've got quite a LARGE movie collection I've acquired over the years; plenty of movie CDs we bought, (500+) downloaded stuff, and so on. Thinking about a way to organize it and consolidate it into one entertainment system.
How I want it to be - I'll back up all the CDs...
Can anyone tell me how to install the trial version of Adobe CS 6 provided? All I see is a bunch of files with .7z.00* extension (where * goes from 1 to 9)
One more question - are the graphics cards suggested purely for gaming or are they going to offer any significant improvement in CAD or render times?
OK - finally convinced my dad to buy everything from Flipkart, and this is what I've got lined up.
Processor AMD 3 GHz AM3 Phenom II 1075T...
I've got no issues except the processor and the monitor.
Since I'm going to be doing pretty processor intensive tasks, any six core processors I could try? The monitor I read reviews of and it seems it's a budget monitor and a bit low on features.
Performance improvement by upgrading ram to 6 GB?
1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: I'm an architecture student, and I'll be using Autocad, 3ds...
Thank you for the suggestions guys, 8GB seems slightly overkill to me, and the budget is actually something I fixed without asking my dad. So I'll have to ask him and get back to you.
Thanks for the suggestion, it's currently out of stock in flipkart, I've clicked on notify me.
Reading thru the reviews there, my only concern is that it seems to be more focussed on gaming. Do you guys think it'll perform equally well for 3d and other stuff as well?
