Well the OP wanted a 1080p screen, and the Z510 is not available in India with that. I guess he has to go with Y510p.

If it is ~35% duty, importing the whole laptop is pointless! If you have a friend carry it in, that's the only good option.

Isn't Broadwell supposed to just reduce the power consumption further by~30% or so?I'm not sure, so I might be wrong. In any case its still a dual core ULV processor! Y50 I guess will have a full voltage quad core afaik. So Y50 users would be happy! :D

So rhyansy , any update on the release dates? I'm more interested in a ~75k model, with FHD and maybe a 850M or 860M. A model at this price range would be very popular I bet.

Yeah. I decided against the Inspiron 7000 just for the 4500U CPU. 80K feels too much for that. Otherwise it's a beautiful thing, with Corning Gorilla glass and IPS screen. So the FHD will have good battery life. Would be nice. Its killing me to consider waiting for the Y50 considering we have...
