Firstly thanks for reply
This link was of no value to me as I already mentioned I know about backwardcompatibility of 2.01/2.0 cards with 1.0 slots. Plus I spent 4 days and countless Google searches and links to find anything I can about D945GCCR mobo specific compatibility, plus any good gfx in...
Hey all.. I need a graphics card buying and compatibility advice.
This will be my first graphic card purchase.
My Budget : 5.5k
I am currently looking at HD6670GDDR5...
None taken :) we all have our opinions and maybe its just me not having faced any tragedy with a build with local psu for light computing
i sure will get a good one for a heavy build
@OP
Get a gigabyte h61 suggested
4 ram slots = lots of room for future upgrades
I would ask you to skip Flipkart or any online store.
And first ask a local seller.
1. It will give you better deals. (Personal Experience)
2. He will assemble it for no charge
Keep the flipkart prices in mind, if he asks for more, ask him to skip that component and order it online.. :)
A standard 4GB DDR3 will cost 1250-1350, why save 400 bucks for such a difference in performance.
If the budget is very tight. He can cut on the case and get a cheaper Intex Case under 1k
Can Someone check my PSU
TO see if i can add a GFX without any problems.. I am still confused. Will post about it later :)
Thanks to everyone for their help... really appreciated

Hey Man! Thanks
1. I never looked at an AMD Build, but I loved the motherboard you recommended, its basically future proof. CrossfireX, USB 3.0, Sata 6GBps
2. But After the processor, ram, a PSU... There is no budget left for GFX and a CPU cooler.
3. Plus I have very less idea, infact no...
I know 2500k has to be paired with a big ol P or Z series processor to use the 'K' factor...
But since you have seen I am right now very tight on budget and stretching everything to make it to 15k, i am just a student
My machine needs a big upgrade
I have a 17in Monitor with 1280x1024...
My budget is tight because, its my first own built PC. And its my "12th Boards" year. I dont trust myself with heavy machinery in this crucial time
I am upgrading now because I cant live with my Pentium D(its built when i knew nothing of Hardware)
Here is another Option, as i am gaming at...
