GPU driver is up to date.

when i play any media in my lapy it lags frequently in 30-40 seconds in Windows 8.1. when i was using Win 7 64 bits in same lapy, it was working fine. Don't know wot to do? :cry::cry: My Laptop is HP pavilion g4 2049tx intel core i5 3rd gen, 4 gb ram, radion graphics.

the problem is not occuring at boot time(don't take much time in booting.).., refreshing after boot is properly working but when i open any file or application it goes into the not responding state (opened file window or appliction) for 3-5 minuts. i removed everything whatever u said bt d...

i forgot to mention one thing that the system hangs when i open any application after booting for 3-5 minuts.

i did 2 times bt it din't solve d problem. i have defragged it 2 times bt still it din't solve d problem . windows 7 ultimate.

My laptop hp g4 2049tx taking time about 5-10 minute to be in a workable state. 2-3 days before i was defragging my hdd's E(3rd) partition(total 3 partition), which was showing 6% fragmentation. Unintentionaly i shutdown my laptop and when i restated it, it took 5-10 minute to be in workable...

is it good to use laptop on AC power most of the time, or should use Battery ? I mean what will be good for long battery life? I use laptop 6-10 hours in a day. My laptop is HP pavilion g4 2049tx.

when i attach charger the touchpad of my laptop(hp g4-2049tx) does not work properly., and it works fine after detaching charger. dont know wot problem arises at d time of power supply..
