Re: Post what you purchased.

didnt u get the bill?these are too high
:-x So, have I been cheated?
I got the bills, but then there are not many places where we can get these new stuffs in Bangalore and so I thought these prices were unavoidable.
What is the cost of these in other places?

Re: Post what you purchased.

Yeah, the PSU at 4.5K is too Expensive, AFAIK, the Corsair VX 450W is around 3.2K.
The q9330 was cheap - its 11.5K here in Mumbai. Motherboard I dunno, and the lito on drive is fine too.

:mad: Oh! That is too bad.

I had to dump a 'Black diamond' 550W PSU that costed me 3.5K. It wouldn't POST my mobo. And with great difficulty I managed to get this PSU after searhing a lot for a decent atx 2.2 PSU.

Bangaloreans, stay away from the Golcha please. And if there is a good place where you shop reliably do let me know.

Ok guys, I had enquired about asus mobos too and got confused with the prices. I now saw the bill. I've paid 11700/- for mobo. Some relief atleast.
@nish
Yes, I enquired about the Q6600 too. It costs about 9.5K. My plan initially was the IP35 with Q6600, but after seeing the cost diff b/w IP35 and IX38 (2K approx) went for the IX38. And then as the IX38 supports 1600Mhz fsb and I couldn't afford the Q9450 (15K), settled for the Q9300. Also thought this would save me from a near future procy upgrade.

I already have a ATI 1950 card. Though it has become old now, will have to stick with it for some more time.

^ Ambaji Computech, Vinayaka Complex.

Its a small shop. You won't find much products their, just tell them what u want and they will order it to the dealer, then the dealer sends it in few minutes. Though the shop keeper will have some 200 - 300 Rs profit margin, its pretty cheap to get the product straight from the dealer and u won't have to search the streets :)

Yeah, that's pretty how everyone operates there. But if you are looking for some fancy or new things, chances that you may get them are bleak and you will have to end up at places like Golcha. Atleast that's what I have felt.
