Help! Odd wide spot spreading on my Asus monitor

Hi,

I'm using an Asus PA238Q monitor.

For the last 2 days, my monitor is developing an odd white like structure that seems to be growing/spreading by the day. Attaching a photo of the same. Doesn't look like a dead pixel to me...

Could someone advise if this can be solved in anyway since the spot seems to be spreading/becoming wider day by day ?

No.. Absolutely nothing at all.. and this morning, it has become even more bigger

White fungus?

On serious note, either something hit ur monitor or someone pressed that spot very hard. LEDs seems to be damaged.
If possible try to run some diagnostic tests but may need to repair (which may not be possible) or buy a new one.

What diagnostic tests do you recommend?

And yes, it looks like a fungus only. I can guarantee that nothing/no one hit my panel.
I do not see any "physical damage" on the outer surface of the panel......

Not sure of your monitor company and model. Check company website or google for tests.
