Yatra.com scamming people ?

So, I booked a one way domestic flight from Yatra.com . So, instead of booking on the 3rd of july as i intended i by mistake booked it for 3rd December by mistake. I booked it from my android cell. I was checking flights for 3rd december last night, probably they saved it in cookies or some shit, so this morning the month was still set to december and their pathetic website design did not help. I know, its a big fat mistake, i was half groggy when i booked it. I agree its my mistake. Since I was so darn sure that I will not need to opt for refunds later on i did not opt to pay for the glorious "Yatra Protection" which makes sure you get a "nice refund" in case you cancel. I thought i would just reschedule it. They will probably charge a reasonable fee. That sound logical. So i tapped that reschedule button on the website. And here it what it says:

I tried calling, no one picked up. It was around 8:39 AM. I guess thats reasonable. No one is there this early. Cool.
Then I thought maybe I should check my reschedule charges. Here is what it says :

I waited for 5 mins. Refreshed multiple times. Nothing changed. My net was working. I could watch youtube smoothly, i checked. This is when it started to get frustrating. Their stupid site does not work. Tried multiple times to check, it kept repeating the same thing again and again. I am using the android chrome browser. If the site doesn't work on chrome, where the heck is it supposed to work on ?

So, i opened my laptop and logged in. Tried the same thing.

As you can see from the above image, it says "Partially Refundable", but when you actually try to cancel the flight it says

My math aint that strong, but 0 rupees ? 0 rupees ? MOTHER PLOUGHING ZERO RUPEES REFUND ?
AND YOU CALL IT PARTIAL REFUND ? The same thing with reschedule, they adjust nothing , you need to pay the entire price for the new booking. They just cancel it, steal you money so that they can sell the same seats again. If you cant give back any money, why not just say no refund. But they won't, they don't want to scare away customers. So they will secure their booking by deceit and and when they try to cancel, they wont give you back a single paise. I checked the dictionary meaning of scam and it says

skam/
noun
informal
  1. 1.
    a dishonest scheme; a fraud.
If this shit ain't , dishonest then I don't know what is. Summing up, their site doesn't work. They call rupees 0 as partial refund (wow). If you dont pay the premium Yatra Protection, you are completely ploughed which i think is competely wrong. I dont know who to blame, the govt ? the flight companies ? or myself for making a mistake ? or the goddamn Yatra.com . Feel free to point out any of my mistakes for I could just be another frustrated customer making unreasonable complaints.

This happened with me before. But its the same with any site u book (Makemytrip, Cleartrip, Yatra etc)
I too got Rs 0 as refund when I cancelled Air India flight booked from Makemytrip.

I don't know how the Airport Authority of India handles this kind of practices ?

How can this be continued? Have't you guys tried calling the customer care? And email to highest level? Or complain to consumer court or something?
If nothing then won't making a buzz of it on twitter and facebook help?

I did try contacting customer care. They said the same thing. They said that I was informed while booking. I was in no way informed that my refund would amount to zero. Instead they would charge you 1k instead of the online .4k per person if you reschedule using chat. I have no idea how to get a buzz on Twitter or Facebook. Maybe I will try. Some advice would be appreciated on who to contact. I even tried calling the airline directly, they said you have to go back to yatra to fix the issue, they cannot help.

Why are airline charges -10800? Why is total amount adding up to -870 but shown as 0 there?
Try contacting the airline for refund. Tweet it to yatra's and flight operator's highest authority.

log a complaint in consumer court.
you will get the refund.
consumer court are fast track courts to resolve any issue much better than local courts

Calculations are not proper.
8000 + 3880 = 11880
-10800 - 1600 - 350 = - 12750
Total = -870 (Refund) adjusted to Zero.

And the surprising thing is the "Convenience Fee" of Rs400 per user everybody is charging.
Why is the convenience term used for online booking ? Well none of us go to airport to book tickets over the counter.

I was booking a ticket for my sister from MMT. I checked indigo's own booking site and got 6% student discount + extra baggage allowance (10kg) for no charge. This thing is never mentioned on any other site.
