but I am able to handle 795mm then even you will be able to handle :) same height. I was getting it for 1.43 in Thane. Dominar is 800mm ..then you have only avenger series
You may be right but it depends upon rider to rider. The real problem occurs when one is not able to put both feet firmly on the ground in city or while riding in hilly or off-road with pillion.

Anyway I will try n test ride Fz25 if I get one(not available in my city right now). Also Avenger new models not available right now.

Actually riding solo is not a big deal on a tall bike. But riding pillion is. :D

What is the fuel economy of Classic 350? And can it's seat height be reduced to say 770-780 mm?

Also does the new Avenger Cruise 220 have kickstart?

Yah quite a shame.
Today I visited Bajaj showroom in my city(not the other city where it wasn't available) and came across the new avenger versions (which were missing kick).
Though I must say the white avenger 220 street looked marvelous and the engine sound was mind blowing(Cruise 220 black looked same as earlier one). Also I take back my earlier word, the new Avenger's seating position is excellent.
Didn't take a test ride though as it was too late and they were about to close shop.
Dominar was too high and too heavy for my liking. KTM's seat wasn't comfy for me as it was on the sportier side
Also visited Yamaha but Fz25 out of stock right now. They asked me to wait for a week.

Avenger has been having kicking removed/missing start from quite a while now. None of the models have it. Mostly because you will never need it. The battery is pretty big enough. The only situation where you may see a problem is when you don't start the bike in a month or two, within first few years.
I have only faced problems once or twice due to leaving it in garage for few weeks without a self.

UM recently released a 220cc bike this auto expo. It seems decent and vfm but pretty sure they will have crap quality. Built in China.

Avenger won't get abs. Bajaj already released the new 2018 model with cosmetic changes.

Abs is getting mandatory and there will be no choice for bikemakers other then to include at least single channel abs on all bikes more than 125cc..

For existing models, it's mandatory from April 2019. For new models its April of this year.

Hmm..so is the Avenger battery better than Classic 350 ones? Cause I mostly see Enfield's failing to self start during winters and then getting kickstart ed in an instant.

Exactly...thats the reason I said we can wait for april so newer models comes with ABS.
So is it advisable to wait for April for new models?

I can now understand why both Bajaj and Enfield launch ed their new product s so quickly.

P.s. I also came across a new Thunderbird 350x on the street.(though it might be a modified one also am not sure( Looked ok. Apart from the tank colouring not much changes.

getting a bike with ABS is a two way sword...the price may go up for all ABS bikes by 15k but if you consider safety important then consider waiting.

I will wait

How many bikes are coming in the near future? I don't see many. Manufacturers tend to bring things when it's mandatory. If I am right, Yamaha officially said they will bring ABS only when it's mandatory. So don't expect Yamaha to bring it before 2019. Honda announced Hornet ABS, I guess we can expect it soon. If I remember right, Hornet was the first one to get BS IV engine from Honda stables. Bajaj brought BS IV earlier than others (or so they claim), so we can expect Bajaj to roll out ABS earlier???

Hero unveiled Xtreme 200R, which will launch in April with singe channel ABS and point to note this won't be full metal.

OP's emphasis is more on full metal body and saddle height and Avenger doesn't even have rear disc and he is considering it, then why ask him to weight for April/ABS?

Yes the Bikes are comming slowly and till next autoshow all will have ABS. When we get a bike for long term, waiting some more day is fine.

BTW apache 200 have dual channel, Gixxer SF have single , Honda Hornet have single, Dominar have dual, yamaha r15 v3 have dual...many bikes already have it.

Avenger is just for height issue...umm I personally like FZ25..it has still an old engine with no FI, no ABS..they are just improving looks everytime.

Even Suzuki intruder is much better technology wise..but it looks strange..

Yeah but I am not in too much of a hurry either..so I can wait till April..but I won't wait till may or june :D

I have had few accidents earlier so I can tell the cost of averting an accident is far cheaper than the cost of surgery post accident.
That said I think I won't need And in bikes with lesser height like Avenger.

I have considered Gixxer but I think the seat would be unsuitable for long rides. Dominate is too high and heavy for me.

Just for info, my present bike has as height of 790mm which is manageable but sometimes I feel difficultfz25 height is 795mm.. won't an added 5 mm be more difficult?

Also by how much mm or cm can seat height of classic 350 be reduced?
