2 in 1 Laptop/PC for Physically Disabled person

I am looking at options to buy a 2 in 1 laptop/pc for my cousin who is a disabled person suffering from Muscular Dystrophy. He needs to have functions as in a Windows PC which he has right now. And he wants to use it on the bed/wheelchair/car.

1) What is your budget?
Rs. 25k

2) What size & weight consideration would you prefer? What are the primary tasks you will be doing on it?

Thin and light. Screen should be good for watching videos, surfing internet, working on office applications, PDF viewer and editing, VoIP calling, etc. It's for basic home use.

It should have good battery with HD screen.

3. Do you need wrist or forearm support?

Yes if available.

4. What is the difference between detachable and convertible 2 in 1 laptop/pc

5. Does it have a DVD drive and can mouse be used on it?

Any suggestions?

If you want better then you have to increase budget to ~31k.Also I suggest checking models personally in showrooms(preferably authorized) before buying as I don't recommend buying laptops online. You can check similar models also in above link.

The first one has 32gb emmc storage(think of it like a fixed 32gb memory card instead of hard disk, win 10 itself would be taking around 25-26gb which will only increase with time as it gets updated). Second one link I already posted earlier.

Thanks for this information. I wasn't aware of that.

1. Which brand is the best - Asus or Acer and which has good after sales service?

2. Are there Android based 2 in 1 laptops ?

3. Does any have DVD/CD drives?

In Delhi,Asus has good after sales support in form of F1 Infosolutions(they provide official WD after sales support too) & have a good experience with them.No idea about Acer but haven't heard major negative comments about their after sales support either. As for quality it all depends on the model, few years ago Acer laptops used to have average or slightly below average screen quality but now-a-days I think their screen quality is improved. That is why I recommend getting laptop from authorized store physically & not online as you will be able to check things like screen quality which is not possible online & also get extended warranty & Accidental damage protection which I strongly recommend for laptops even if it costs 1-2k more(again getting them online is usually not possible).
