Hi All,
Noticed that the Yotaphone got a big price cut on flipkart.
Now its available for 9k, getting a 64% price put.
Do you think at this price tag it's worth?
Thanks in advance.

I don't know whether it's worth it not but I can say that It's good bang for buck. But the problem is, it's a no long term phone. Developer support is nearly nil and forget about service centres. But if you want to stand out from the crowd, then go for it.

This question is for yourself. Do you want to show off to your friend than yes it is a great phone but in practicality will you use it and find it helpful in your day to day task that is up to you.

Not worth it. Its still using Jelly Bean, you won't be able to play any of the latest games.

From 25k to 9k , it may not be even worth that much lol :p

Its not a good phone at this point of time, 720p display at 4 inch is bad really bad and the actual display quality is also shitty.. It is recommended you buy a proper smartphone with an amazon kindle... best of both worlds imo

How can 720 p 4 inch display is bad? I think at 4 inch it's best and even saves battery life.

just look at the youtube videos.. it appears washed out in terms of colors as compared to anything in it's own price range

It was meant to test the water of this type of product and I won't advice anyone to use this as a primary phone.

Thanks a lot for all the advice. I was in awe of the e-ink display on a smartphone, but the other drawbacks seem to hold down the device a lot. Think that a futher price cut will make it worth of a collector item.
Probably later yota devices will be better.
