Upgrading my PC, Suggestions? Hackintosh friendly

Hey guys,
I've decided to upgrade my PC. I have the following config:

CPU: i7 920
Mobo: Gigabyte EX56 UD5
Ram: Corsair 6GB tri channel
HDD: 1 TB WD green
GPU: HD 5770
PSU: Cooler Master GX 550 ( I know I compromised with PSU)
Cabinet: CM 690
Monitor: Benq 22 inch LCD
I suppose that's the relevant part (check my signature to see my full config)

Leave out the quoted section, if you don't like to read much.
Now am upgrading for following reasons:

1. My HDD is bottlenecking my computer performance alot.
2. Need to run hackintosh (I purchased Mountain Lion, will be upgrading to Yosemite), I need mac for work, because its in general more productive for me (personal opinion here) and since its unix based, all the tools and packages I need are easily available while on windows its a major pain. Please don't suggest me to buy a mac because 13.3 is not sufficient for me and I can't spend 1 lac on 15.4 inch macbook pro. And I don't have space for an iMac(Funny i Know).
3. I will be putting hackintosh in a seperate HDD so that I can boot to windows and Play games in high definition: Dragon Age Inquisition, Assassin's Creed Unity, WatchDogs, Far Cry 4
4. I just feel like upgrading after 5 years. I purchased a future proof system, whats the point of keeping it as it was back when I bought it.

So I don't want to change my CPU, Mobo since together they cost me 30k and they're perfectly working. But am open to changing any other components.

Here are the choices am considering:

1. HDD: Samsung EVO 250 GB SSD, I know 120 gb is sufficient but I want to stay on the higher side anyways.
Now this is a must, so I don't need opinions on this, but should I change my WD green for something else or Should I just keep it? Because windows would be installed on this HDD. I don't think hard disk has much to do with gaming performance. Do correct me if am wrong.

2. Sapphire HD 7770 1GB graphics card: Well this is sufficient I hope? I was considering R9 270x as well. I can go with either, budget is not a restriction, although I don't want to buy it unless I need that much power (see the list of games above apart from that sometimes intense HD video processing work).

3. Cooler Master Hyper 212x -> Need cooling, I have faced some serious heating issues back in summer.

4. PSU: Seasonic S12ii 620W -> Just because when I configured my PC I totally ignored PSU :) so this time.. a good one.

Now beyond this, if you guys have any suggestions I want to know. I was thinking of upgrading my monitor too, is there a good 24inch monitor out there, which would give me 80% of the awesomeness of Apple Thunderbolt, at a good cost.

Should I upgrade my RAM to Kingston hyper X 4GBx2 or should I keep my current Tri Channel setup.

Budget: 30-35k

I will be buying within 2 days, from Mumbai or Online. Preferably online. I hope I've covered everything?

Thanks in advance!
Regards.

okay I guess.. I put in too long a story or my query was really difficult to resolve, because so many views and no answer.. thats definitely a first :p

Well, the HD 7770 cant handle AC Unity at high.. maybe low med settings but definitely not high..
Really suggest you go for R9 270X
For the rest of the components, let others decide, i seem to have lost track of whats good

Thanks everyone, am glad I saw your posts, I was about to get Seasonic s12ii 620, if 520 can power a GTX 970, I don't really need 620 do I?
@Nerevarine - I saw two different versions of Sapphire R9 270x:
1. RAM: 2GB @ 14.7k
Access Denied
2. RAM: 4GB @ 15.5k
Access Denied

I know there are alot more things to a graphics card, but really I can't see why I shouldn't get the 4GB version ?
@adityak469 : Yeah unfortunately hackintosh'es require specific hardware. The HD 7xxx series is supported out of the box from what I saw. Hackintosh is basically a non apple machine running Mac OSX . Not all GPU's are supported. There are drivers available for some, for example R9 270x is recognized as a 7xxx series card but with a little tweaking around you can get it working. Thanks for your input about S12ii 520!
