Will HIS R9 280X fit in my cabinet

I have finally made up my mind to purchase this card but doubt if it would fit in my cabinet. Can someone please assist me with this?

I opened up my cabinet to check this, card is about 30cm long and at about the same length, there is a steel plate which might obstruct the cables going into the card.

I'm using Cooler Master 690 cabinet with GA-MA785GMT-UD2H motherboard. Only if my motherboard is shifted slightly up, there is free space to make way for the cables but I'm not sure if I can do that.

Any help would be appreciated and would save me an effort to carry the CPU to other part of the city and get it checked by the hardware vendor.

Thanks a lot.

Should it not be max card length allowed>card length??

Thanks guys. Somehow I'm unable to find this spec for my cabinet. I believe this is Cooler Master 690 (basic) one. Will look more on the internet but seems like my best bet would eventually be to take it to the store and get it checked.

I guess I would have to try out different R9 280x to see which one fits else would spend 3k or so on a cheaper cabinet brand. Don't want to downgrade my choice to 270x just because of the cabinet - at the time of building my rig, I thought this was among the biggest cabinets.

My XFX HD5850 has lasted me 3 years and I've been gaming in 3D on 720p for around a year - would like my next card to serve for atleast 3 years, so don't want to compromise on that.

Thanks again.
