Back to school!!
Hey guys, my old Altec Lansings gave in a few months ago, now the woofer sounds like the barks of a dying dog, so it needs to be replaced. Criteria are:
1. Price is around 5k max, I am short on cash atm, spending any more will attract the wrath of the parents
2. Stereo only, maybe a woofer would do, but that's the max.
3. Should produce good music, don't care about bass that much, I am an audiophile by heart, so the setup will be used for audio only, I listen to lots of house music, alongside new age and electronic, some of my fav bands are Daft Punk, Enigma. So this should give you guys a rough idea about my requirements. I know my budget does not allow for a lot of luxuries(AudioEngine
), but this will have to do till my next raise(which will be in 2015).
And one more thing, suggest some good online shops as well, but only large sites, I have suspicions about sites like ProAudioHome(formerly pristinenote), bazao.com etc, ebay is ok.
