This rare kit arrived at home from GKGundamkit.com which is based in Hong Kong.

[album] Realtype MG RX-78-2 Gundam 2.0 - Imgur

This not rare kit arrived at res (not home) from amazon.com

[album] SD Hi Nu Gundam - Imgur

The former cost ~$64 excluding shipping. There is another kit in that same order, but it's a February 2014 release, so on preorder for now. Combined shipping for both is ~$48.

The latter cost <$16 including shipping.

Is this some kind of Japanese toy..

So what's the difference.. I mean kids play with action figures.. Right.. Or sometimes you just put them in a showcase

Your point being? Of the two kits I posted here, I would only let a kid build the SD Hi Nu Gundam. Not the MG RX-78-2 because of the sharp tools involved. Less parts = less time spent on making and less risk of injury for a novice.

Also, if you play with them they will break. They're only meant to be used as display pieces, not as kid's toys.
