Thanks rijinpk1 for the Config :)

Is there an AMD alternative for my purpose which fits the bill similarly like the above config??

Any sound card that can be included? I can put in 2TB now and spend the rest on a good sound card and later update the HDD.
Is the PSU mentioned fully modular? If not what can be the alternative?

Also i have another query.
I have a friend of mine who is building a gaming rig with the following config
i5 4670
Asrock Z87 Extreme 4
G skill 16gb @1600MHz
Seasonic/Corsair 650W
GTX 770 from Zotac
Samsung 128gb SSD
WD black 2TB
Lite On Blue ray

He was wondering whether 650W PSU will be sufficient to run all the devices appropriately?
Whether aftermarket air cooler like Hypo Evo 212 will be good as the processor is not going to be overclocked.
If its good to go with HE 212 what will be the temps like?
Also he is unsure whether to get a full tower/mid tower cabinet? what will be the best pick?

first of all tell your friend to buy a h87 or b85 motherboard and save some cash as i5 4670 (without k) is not overclockable so he dosent need an expensive z87 chipset.
650w psu is more than enough just make sure it is 80 plus certified.
hyper 212 evo will handle the i5 4670 smoothely.
for case mid tower is more than enough for this config even if he decides to upgrade any part. he can buy corsair 400r or cooler master 690 III (new case).

Is there an AMD alternative for my purpose which fits the bill similarly like the above config??
Intel 3930k is better than any amd card out there at current moment
Any sound card that can be included? I can put in 2TB now and spend the rest on a good sound card and later update the HDD.
asus xonar stx for 9k
Is the PSU mentioned fully modular? If not what can be the alternative?
Yes the are fully modular but if you want platinum psu than Corsair ax series are also fully modular and are an option

knocking on heavens door
u can try an 8350+ 990FX sabre tooth build..and invest the saved cash in a few more ssd's for scratch disk only.

welcome;-).
you can go for config suggested by sumonpathak. but it will be slower than suggested by me. but is more VFM since suggested i7 is 3X costlier than amd while being 30-40 % faster. however you can go for good water cooling solution to take that i7 into 5GHz and getting an unmatched performance.

your budget for sound card? the suggested psu by me is fully modular. corsair ax760,ax860 are good alternatives.

for the mobo, if he is selecting a non k cpu, get asus b85mG, or h87 plus. for psu ,get seasonic s12 ii 620. it is more than enough. if he plans on sli-ing later ,then get corsair tx850v2 or seasonic x860/x760 ,corsair ax860/760 etc.
an after market cpu cooler is recommended. since he does not want to overclock, hyper tx3 will be more than enough. hyper 212 evo will be 5 degrees cooler than tx3 evo.
for cabinet , get corsair carbide 400r. what is his budget of cabby?

ok i can go for water cooling..
can you suggest a good water cooler?? whats the longevity of these coolers?? Budget within 6K.
Can you give me the exact model number for PSU and Hard disks (HDD & SSD) i have seen many variants in WD black and im not sure which one to go for.

Where can i find these components cheaper online & if not online in Pune?

As for my friends config, i see h87 mobos are good from Asrock & Asus not sure which one to go for.~ Any inputs on this??
If possible can you give the exact model detail.
Hyper evo 212 is good saw some reviews & its pretty hit among many.
The budget for his cabinet is around 4k. Wants to go for ATX mobo.

you can go for Antec Kuhler H2O 920 Cooler ,corsair h70 or h80i or coolermaster seidon ones. these coolers must last long, although i dont have any solid proof.

psu here Buy Online Seasonic 760W Modular Power Supply (SS-760KM) in india but price is not listed. hdd here Seagate HDD Black Desktop Internal Hard Drive (ST4000DM000) - Seagate: Flipkart.com . you may try ti find a WD oneif possible. WDs are more reliable and has good servicing than seagate.
ssd here Samsung 840 Pro Series 256 GB SSD Internal Hard Drive (MZ-7PD256BW) - Samsung: Flipkart.com . you may be able to find a better deal for all of these locally.

Where can i find these components cheaper online & if not online in Pune?

try websites like primeabgb, mdcomputers, theitdepot, theitwares, smcinternational etc. anyway, head first to local shops in your city.

get asus one. this one Asus H87M-E Motherboard - ASUS: Flipkart.com or this one Asus H87-Pro Motherboard - ASUS: Flipkart.com .
for 4k cabby, try to get antec gx700. 212 evo is not needed for a non-overclockable config.
