Which is the best tool for recording gameplay

Fraps hands down is the best recording utility I have used..It is resource intensive but the end result is worth it
Next in line is Camstasia but quality is nowhere near Fraps

neither do I, but I can record 720p Crysis 2 and 900p League of Legends just fine at max settings..
Just make sure to RUN the game at the resolution you are gonna be recording at.. Otherwise, its just a waste of framerate
It actually depends on which drive you store it to.. I use my external HDD to store the fraps files.. If u have another internal HDD to store, itll give a nice boost to fps

What is the purpose? if you want to edit montage and stuff then fraps, else use bandicam with xvid codec with quality @ 60% . MSI after burner is also good.

Msi afterburner works better than fraps. Plus files size is 10 times smaller when compared with fraps. And its free.

Heres a video i recored with msi afterburner. 720p HD

Last time I started remember , I tried recording video @768p Max settings, using Fraps. NFSMW13.
The frame rates dropped to 15-16 fps from 30-35/s.
The device was the machine in my signature.

Need something really less resource intensive. BTW , can the poor 5400rpm drive be a bottleneck ???

Guys, Fraps vs Dxtory vs MSI Afterburners vs Bandicam vs EVGA Precision vs Mirillis Action! Vs Radeon Pro in terms of Size, Quality and mainly FPS drops is the best. And also tell me which of these is best for my GPU, i.e., Zotac gtx 560ti.
